Quality versus Quantity

That was kind of the theme of Alive Fest in Ohio. Quality over quantity. Some days I felt like I maybe talked to only four people. (Well, it was more, but it felt that way cuz of the length of conversation!haha)  People really opened up and shared personal stories of their life. I heard stories of a man who saw God moving through him in his workplace as he interceded for different ones. I heard a couple of stories of people being abused. I heard stories of God's healing. God's conviction. God's faithfulness. It's been amazing. It is hearing people's stories that gets me excited. And then I have the opportunity to speak into their lives and pray for them!
I will expound on just one of many stories here. It began by me doing my regular duties of talking about YWAM to a couple of girls. A while later, one of the girls returned and said that she went to a concert and the whole time she felt like she was supposed to come back and talk to me. So she started asking me questions about what I do as a missionary in Mexico. So I was able to share what I do and the things that I'm passionate about. And then she began to share about her crazy life story, even though she didn't understand why she was telling me all this, as a complete stranger. We talked for at least an hour, maybe even two. And then I prayed for her about situations she told me about and also for healing because she just mentioned head pain and leg pain since an accident.  A couple days later she returned to just talk again. It was then that she informed me that she never had people pray over her about the pain. But in the past couple days, she hadn't cried herself to sleep because of the pain, hadn't needed to take her pills, and started to have tingling sensation in her leg where there had been no feeling before!!
God really had so many divine appointments for each one of us. And we are ready for more as we start here at Cornerstone in Illinois.
Peace, Rheanne

God Love Restores Hearing to a Deaf Ear, and other cool stuff. :-)

I have only been so glad to have a warm shower twice in my life as I was tonight. I am learning that the things I take as rights are actually privileges. I am learning to no longer expect those things but accept them as blessings as they come. If Jesus himself had no place to rest his head (The Son of God) what am I doing? How far has my perspective shifted?

We have been camping for four days in the stormy, muddy, rainy weather. When I go camping I feel like a wet cat, I just freeze in agony, but my boundaries are being expanded. The past four days we took the plunge into the river for a refreshing and startling wake up call!

Today was the best day I've had by far. My dream is to be able to Live everyday in God's fullness. My passions are awaking! It's days like today that make my heart come ALIVE!

Yesterday and today we spent over 5 hours talking to a youth group about God and who He is and what He's done in our lives through the vehicle of Love.  I wish we could take them all with us! They were so fun to talk to!

Yesterday we had the honor to pray for a girl named Jordan, who had 2-5% hearing in her left ear. We prayed that God would open it up! We believe Him for our healing. In Matthew 10:8 it says boldly, "Heal the sick..." It doesn't say PRAY for them but HEAL them (In the authority we have been given).

While we were talking to her she said that God had been convicting her of certain things, she said "this wasn't suppose to happen this weekend!" She was shocked at God's goodness and what that meant for her life! She was about to start her walk down the road of transformation! Praise God.

On her way to our booth this morning she had told God that she needed confirmation on all this stuff she was feeling, asking herself "Is this really you, God? If it is heal my ear, so I can hear again!"

AT THAT MOMENT HER EAR OPENED UP! ...And she regained 100% of her hearing. I made sure to ask 3 times, I was so excited and in awe. (Are you sure, are you sure, are you sure?! WOOHOO!) I've seen God heal a broken hip bone right in front of me, swelling, mangled hands, broken ankles, and seen God take away Stage 4 Breast Cancer verifiable by her Doctor who was running out of options, but I had never seen HEARING be RESTORED! (It was something on my wish list) God is so creative and gracious! She used her Faith and need to know Him, formed it in a question herself, and prayed over herself that her ear would open!

We talked for so long, and she is excited to do a DTS. We had about 7 or 8 of the youth group members come back about 4 or 5 times asking to hear more testimonies from YWAM. We would tell them what Love looks like manifesting itself in different ways and they Loved it (literally). They would bring more and more people every hour!

God also healed another girls back! She had been having pains when she would wake up every morning, but between yesterday and today it went away! Her name is Desi, such a sweet girl with so much passion and such power in her words and prayer!

The Healing's aren't whats important, but its the extent of Love God has! It's the feeling of community when you get excited, and there is a fire burning and you can share that with others, but I don't mind seeing it whatsoever.

We met another girl later that night who just needed Love and prayer over stuff going on at home, with busy parents, fighting brothers and sisters, and everything else a 13 year old girl goes through. It literally broke my heart. She was so Loving, and kind. All she wanted was freedom. We prayed and God released all that weight off of her! She felt so happy. I really hope I get to keep in touch with her an the many other people we met today.

It was my perfect day on the road.

God has also been showing me what Peace looks like, and "bearing with one another in Love" Thank you!!!

I'm excited for future ministry! God is speaking about a certain age group to work with and a place I would never think of going!  God's timing is always faithful.

WOW, I'm overwhelmed by Him. So glad I'm on this Mobile Team. BRING MORE LORD, PLEASE!

Love,
Andrew

Today I've been able to talk with a group of kids who keep coming back to the booth to hear more stories of what God has done. Within an hour we were able to talk about hearing the voice of God, what discernment is, The importance of obedience and sensitivity to the Spirit, prophecy, and healing. These guys are so ready to get out there and do great things with God. We have had the chance to pray for well over 150 people in the past 2 weeks or so. We've also had the chance to speak with and personally encourage and disciple new believers, one on one. We are putting in 12-15 hour days consistently but there hasn't been a day so far that I haven't seen God show up miraculously and touch peoples hearts that needed it. We are experiencing more divine appointments and it's more than worth every second we invest into listening, encouraging, and challenging. What a real and amazing God we serve.

I'm tired, spent, drained, and emotionally invested at times but Im still blown away by Gods faithfulness. Like Paul said I will gladly spend and be spent for your souls.

Today I met a lady who adopted a kid who was going to be aborted. She told me her story and it reminded me how lucky I was to have a mom who adopted me in those same circumstances. It also reminded me that the enemy is real and he wants to kill and destroy anything that will make a difference in the world. I am so blessed to have been given a second chance by God to live, and for an amazing Mother who prayed for me and Loved me so much!
Alive Festival seems to move at a slower pace with fewer people but what I notice happening is more Divine appointments! So cool
Only God can satisfy me. I've been blown away with how hard this trip is but even more with Gods faithfulness. It's biblical that if you haven't gone through times of trial you soon will but he is bigger and more real than any of the things that come our way. "fear not"

I'm being tested daily at least ten times. Sometimes I need to ask "God where are you In this? But I've tasted his Real Freedom. I'm ready to learn more about Loving others when it's not do easy, or where it's a choice.

We are at Alive festival here in Mineral City, OH. It's out second day here. God is showing me the value of talking to people, smiling, being authentic, and really grabbing ahold of others and loving them.

I feel like I just need time with him. Everything else is temporary. It's a battle to take time away from the booth to get in his presence and pray or worship, but I'm convinced it's more important to be with him than to strive for him.

Hope you all are wonderful and that God Is lovin the heck out of you. -Andrew

I'm so moved this Afternoon by Gods faithfulness and his promise to heal relationships in my life as I focus on Him. It comes from being overfilled and in Love. My prayer Is that he would delight in my affections turned to Him. I want to wrap my arms around my Daddy's neck. I know he's proud but I can't wait til that day we will see each other. It will be an amazing homecoming celebration. Love is the Future so today I choose to Serve.

Quick Testimony Email from someone we prayed for.

To keep it confidential I am covering up his name!

I'm **** ******, we talked at Ichthus and you prayed for me.  I thank you for that, it helped me through a situation I was going through but I didnt want to tell anyone about it.  Thanks so much.

God, you're good! Thank you for touching this young man's life.

We thought we were just getting into a Hot Tub....

Unbelievable night. My words won't do it justice.  (PLEASE READ THIS WHOLE POST)
Tonight we were able to clearly feel God's heart!
Through stories and dreams we've had recently in our lives we discovered a sensitivity to what God was doing.
We were in the Hot Tub here at our hosts house and out of no where we started opening what was on GOD'S AGENDA. We just felt a need to pray, and get in his presence.
He spoke out everyones Identity on our team specifically, what parts we were and told us as we joined together that we would conquer strongholds. He used an illustration from bubbles in the water, as they gathered together (us joining each other in unity) they grew together (our team strengthened) and grew and grew until they popped (symbolizing the BREAKING of strongholds)

He spoke that we weren't just going to festivals we were called to WAR. It was cool to see how each of us fit into his plans.
Roles our our team: (You can see how they go well together and form the body of Christ! )
The Prophet (The anointing of Samuel to receive words for guidance) , The Initiator and orchestrator, the worshiper, The warrior, and The Fragrance.

We felt a heavy spirit of Death and Fear over people coming to the following festivals and over us, and also the Bases we came from, so of course we broke it off in Jesus name! and declared his peace!

Right after that I received a picture of a heart crying, and it started to rain!! BUT ONLY FOR A MINUTE WHILE IN THAT SEASON OF PRAYER then immediately stopped! UNBELIEVABLE, it was a sign  God showed us that his heart was being poured for others and for us. He told us and confirmed to us that we were making an impact in the Heavenly realms, that he was taking the death and fear, and cleansing the ground, and giving us his authority. I also got a picture of a white flag on a hill, taking over territory and declaring that peace, not only over the Festivals but over YWAM Denver, San Diego/Baja, and Montana.

We also recieved clarity that we were actually interceeding for a specific person. I had a picture of a 15-16 year old boy, he was between 5'6" and 5'8" he had 50 leather straps and chains on one of his arms. He had long black hair and was kind of chubby. God gave 2 of us the name, James to pray for. We believe him in this so please pray for him. We felt that God was doing a work sparing his life and bringing Hope into his life (The shirt I wore to the pool said "Hope Bringer on it, just remembered this, haha) we saw a picture of God releasing these chains and leather belts that were attached to his right arm.

Every time there was a victory God would give us the chills, or it would rain for a brief second and stop!  His presence was so tangible tonight!!! AHH Im excited!!!! In total we were in this hot tub for about an hour and a half, at least, the time RAN by us.

Moving forward into the end of our night we felt like we were suppose to "Knight" each other for battle. One by one we went around and did that releasing us to draw our swords and go on the offense.

This resonated with our hearts "Knights in service of the Savior" and "This battle is not mine, but it belongs to the Lord"

-Words from a FOR TODAY song by Mattie Montgomery.

Please pray for Freedom and abundant life for these kids we are meeting, PLEASE! There is so much struggle and battle for their lives. A lot of kids living in darkness. Please pray that God would have his way in their lives and would bring them into his Love, Grace, and Authority!

Wish I could paint a picture of tonight. We ended by sitting in silence. The Jets on the Hot Tub turned off at that moment and we waited, I didn't want to leave that feeling, but we needed to get back inside at some point.

I'm OVERWHELMED. We thought we were just getting into a Hot Tub....

Love Andrew and the War Team.

Photos from the road

We are a fun team, we like to do crazy stuff and have fun on this amazing adventure God has thrown us on. A dream of mine has always been to see the St Louis arch, so check it out!

Peace! - David
So God just blessed us with our second host home, we've only had to camp 1 out of 6 nights. Unbelievable! Thank you God. This place is amazing and so are the people! This house is so gorgeous I'm sure there's 5 beds and baths or more it's like a mini mansion on 6 acres. I'm learning what abundant blessing looks like.
We are all watching Jesus Freaks. It's a documentary filmed in 2007 based on a school we have at YWAM Denver called Boarders DTS (Discipleship Training School) It shows who God is and the power of his transformation as we give God our life and give Him permission to move.

If you want to see it you can message me or go to
Www.jesusfreaksmovie.com

I am completely overwhelmed with Gods love. I feel like he is taking away the weight of "Leadership" and is allowing me to live my life in who he has called me to be without apologizing for it. Wow. Every second we give to him is worth it. If you are struggling right now and things are heavy, define your focus. You don't have to think less about yourself but about yourself less. Let's all perminantely change our lenses. Let's see the World through Gods eyes. Get on your knees and humble yourself but know how big your God is and who you are. You are adopted into the royal family. You don't live a normal life anymore, take away the limitations that others have put over you and spoken over you and grab ahold of your kingdom provision and identity. Love you all!
Shawn comes to the booth to sign up for our free IPad draw. I begin talking about Discipleship Training Schools when he blurts out, "I just became a Christian. Like just a few minutes ago." My spirit gets so pumped as he explains how it went down. I ask him what he's gonna do now, how he'll be different. His response: "I'm not going to listen to what others say but what God wants me to do." I encourage him and pray for him. He's ready to go out and be bold! Our family's growing.
Rheanne
Great debrief time with the team!
We are getting to really understand each other
And figuring out how to love each other more!
I am thoroughly excited for the rest of this time
We are feeling refreshed, productive, and Gods spirit is moving!!
On our way to Ohio today!

Unbelievable day.
Lady comes to Our booth sad depressed
Talks about her cancer and diabetes
How her husband doesn't support her.
She talks about possibly getting a divorce, right as
She is saying that her husband walks in back of
Her, not knowing he was there she kept talking
We said hi to him and she asked how long he was there
He wasn't a Christian but instead of judging him
I remember Living with my Mom who had cancer
It's hard on both sides.
we asked to pray over their marriage and they both agreed
We prayed the cancer away and asked God for confirmation that she was
Healed and my eyes immediately looked up and the first thing I saw was a shirt
On a guy walking by That said "HEAL THE SICK".
We prayed over their marriage and they walked off holding hands.
I believe that God not only healed her diabetes And cancer but their marriage.
Thats one of like 3 miraculous stories from today.
Go in peace to LOVE and serve the Lord!

Going deep.

Tonight was all about deep conversations.
Met lots of cool people
God is in control
His love Never ends or fails.
My life is a series of divine appointments, God has literally drawn it out
To show me He is in control. He is the great orchestrator.
Just another part of his amazing character.
It's beginning to be easier to Trust Him.
And I Love that.

Love, Andrew

Stormy Stories from Wilmore, Kentucky

We were outside our van, frying up some David Donaldson specialty hamburgers to share with our booth neighbours and feeding some hungry band members ready to hit the road, when the storm warning came again. Staff and police were rounding everyone up to safety as the dark clouds rolled over. We quickly packed up our dishes and took our new friends, who are here with 'My Fight', to our blessed host home where we had fresh cherry pie awaiting us.
These initial days have started off well with a great team and awesome opportunities to share and pray and connect with people. I love hearing peoples' stories of where they're at in life.
And in the midst of busyness and long days, God's been reminding me to abide in Him because that's where I'll find rest and security; trusting Him.
Psalm 46 (A verse from The Message)
"Step out of traffic! Take a long, loving look at me, your high God, above politics, above everything."

Peace,
Rheanne and Mobile Team

3rd festival day.

This time has been incredible.
So far we've had about 185 contacts and people we were able to talk to about Ywam and about God.
Weve prayed for about 50 people.
Delivered 15 prophetic words.
And seen 1 person healed miraculously of a knee injury.
God has been using us even behind a booth at a music festival.
He has shown us so many different things
But mostly about identity and revival.
Revival right now is hitting the United States.
The only thing stopping it is Our unwillingness to yield
And decide to live for Him.
I'm pumped up and can't wait to see what happens during
The rest of our time
But more importantly the adventure we get to be on
With Him. Thank you Heavenly Father!

I'm not satisfied with normal. I want to be obsessed with you I want to follow you I want to be an unleashed animal for your kingdom. Grant me wisdom power and intimacy. Let your revival hit my heart!

Interactions!

God I only want to talk about your goodness. Today was unbelievable! God is so faithful to use you if you are open to it. He might challenge you beyond your comfort zone but that’s where the opportunity presents itself for you to grow.

During and after Hillsong’s set God told me to go pray for some people. I was obedient and because of that I got to partner with Him. He had me pray over a kid named James. I kept getting the words “Music and Art” and that he had to “Awaken his dreams.” It turned out he was actually a drummer like me, and was going to quit his worship band THAT NIGHT, and give up that dream of going on with music. God redeemed his vision. He was a bit freaked out from the word God delivered but excited and brought his friends over so I could pray for them as well, and we all did! By the way, I also had the feeling James was going to do a DTS, more to come on that one.

I then prayed for a staff person at the festival and Daddy delivered words straight to his heart, he was really touched. We hugged it out after, I was so pumped for him, knowing God has such great plans for his life.

After the concert we got in contact with those people I posted about in the last blog. The one’s that were going to let us stay with them here in Wilmore, Kentucky…

Well let me tell you. God hooked us up. This is the most beautiful house. The husband is Chief of Police and the Wife is a republican interior decorator who loves Glen Beck. They have been married 43 years, have 3 grandchildren, and are such beautiful, warm, hospitable hosts. They made us brownies, opened their refrigerator to us and told us to make ourselves at home. They told us about the town of Wilmore and said “People waive here with their WHOLE hand.” It is such a friendly, and loving city.

So glad to be here in Kentucky. Tomorrow will be our first official day at the festival. We plan to dive right into what He has for us! Please pray for continued team unity, and to see God move in powerful ways.

Love,
Andrew and the Mobile Team.

Are You Serious, God?

Today was our first day on the road! We got about eleven and a half hours of road between us and Denver heading towards Kentucky. Tonight we will be staying with our friend who did a few Ywam Schools back in Denver who lives two blocks away from IHOP (International House of Prayer) in Kansas, City, Missouri.

The plan for housing situations on Mobile Team's usually involves a lot of camping and a few host homes of people we know along the way. We have wonderful friends and family that will be putting us up on every stop of the trip, but one place was still unaccounted for, Kentucky. So up to today, we didn't know if we'd be camping outside or what!

Of course today our contact here in Kansas City met a guy, outside an old restaurant that had been closed down and turned into a church. As they got into conversation the guy said "Hey, if you or anyone you know needs a place to stay for the Ichthus Festival in Kentucky (Our next stop tomorrow, 10 hours away) let me know. I have 2 or 3 rooms open and would love to help you out."

God's Love is so Radical.

Love,
Andrew and the Ywam Mobile Team

We invite you to join us!

Hey everyone!

We are so excited for this summer! Welcome to our blog. We will be keeping you updated as we have wifi and as new stories photos and videos develop. All of us will be posting updates, so you will have 5 different personalities and perspectives, having a more well rounded view of what's going on. It reminds me of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. They told their eye witness accounts of what they saw Jesus doing, they all saw the same things for the most part, but God was doing a new thing inside each of them which revealed itself through their writing.

Our vision for this team is simple. It's about making ourselves available for 7 weeks to see God touch and transform people lives as we talk about Missions. We feel God's leading is stewarding heaven to earth, allowing people to tangibly feel God. One of our guys on our team got a vision of a 90 degree angle. As we were moving horizontally God was moving vertically. The two points met and we became the place where God's glory was experienced.

As we've been praying we've all gotten the same impressions from God. It's all about his presence. Getting in his presence and bringing others into his presence and seeing awesome things happen out of that!

I invite you to join us on this wild ride! Thank you teaming and partnering with us. Please please please check back regularly!

Love,
Andrew and the Ywam Mobile Team
